Terms and Conditions

By accessing and using the services of Nelson Empowers, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Our programs, content, and resources are designed for personal and professional growth, and any misuse, redistribution, or unauthorized reproduction is prohibited. While we strive for accuracy and effectiveness, we do not guarantee specific outcomes. Nelson Empowers is not liable for any direct or indirect consequences arising from the use of our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Scheduling

At Nelson Empowers, all coaching sessions must be booked online through our official website. After your initial booking, a complimentary consultation will be scheduled to discuss your goals and determine the best coaching approach for your needs.

All payments for the selected coaching service are required to be paid in full at the time of booking, unless a payment plan has been agreed upon and confirmed in writing prior to the start of services.

For clients on weekly coaching plans, all sessions must be scheduled ahead of time via our website to ensure availability and maintain consistency. For virtual coaching sessions, clients are expected to be logged in and ready at least five minutes before the scheduled start time. All sessions will begin promptly at the designated time, and any late arrivals will result in reduced session time without adjustment in fees.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

We recognize that sometimes, unforeseen circumstances can lead to the need for rescheduling or cancellation. Our rescheduling policy allows clients to reschedule their appointments without additional fees as long as the request is made within the allotted timeframes listed below.

Clients who cancel more than 48 hours before their session will automatically incur a 25% cancellation fee. If the cancellation is made within 48 hours before their session, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. Full cost of the session and additional fees will apply if the session is cancelled within 24 hours or no-shows. 

​Late arrivals are a common concern, and we want to make sure that sessions remain as efficient and effective as possible. We allow a 10 minute grace period for clients who arrive late. If you arrive within the grace period, the session will proceed as planned, and the full session time will be honored. However, if you arrive more than 20 minutes late, the session may be considered a no-show, and a cancellation fee will apply. In these cases, the full payment for the session will be forfeited, and no refund will be provided.

In the event that Nelson Empowers must cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or emergency, we will work with the client to reschedule at a time that is convenient for both parties or offer a full refund.

Refund and Returns

At Nelson Empowers, we are committed to ensuring that you are completely satisfied with your merchandise. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we are here to assist you with our comprehensive refund and return policy, designed to offer clarity and transparency in all transactions. We believe in making the return process as easy and hassle-free as possible, and we encourage you to reach out if you have any concerns.

You have 7 days from the date of purchase to return an item. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it. Items that have been damaged, used, or altered in any way are not eligible for return. Please ensure that you have the receipt or proof of purchase available when you request a return, as this is required for all returns. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with the next steps, including instructions for returning the item to us.

Once we receive your returned item, we will thoroughly inspect it to ensure that it meets the conditions outlined in our policy. Upon completion of the inspection, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable, and the return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to an error or mistake on our part, such as sending the wrong item or a damaged product.

If you haven’t received your refund yet, please take the following steps:

  • Check your bank account again to ensure there are no delays.​

  • Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time for the refund to be officially posted to your account.​

  • If you have done both of these steps and still have not received your refund, please reach out to us at the information below, and we will investigate the issue further.

If you need to exchange an item for the same product due to damage or defect, please contact us at the email listed below within 7-10 business days of receiving your item. We are happy to assist you with an exchange and will do our best to ensure that you receive a replacement as quickly as possible. Please note that exchanges are only available for items that have been damaged or are defective upon arrival.

Certain items are not eligible for return under any circumstances. These items include but are not limited to:

  • Personalized/customized items

  • Used or opened self-care products

  • Digital products or downloadable software

  • Gift cards

Shipping

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. However, during peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be extended due to higher order volumes.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout, with delivery times varying depending on the selected shipping method and destination. The available shipping options are as follows: Standard Shipping, which takes 5-7 business days; Expedited Shipping, which takes 2-3 business days; and Overnight Shipping, which delivers in 1 business day. Please be aware that delivery delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, carrier delays, or high order volumes.

For international orders, we offer shipping to select countries, with rates and delivery times varying based on the destination. Please note that additional customs duties, taxes, or import fees may apply to international shipments, and these are the responsibility of the customer.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking information to update. If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact our customer service team at nelson.empowers@gmail.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date, and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.

Photo Policy

This policy outlines the guidelines for the use of photographs, videos, and other media captured during events hosted or sponsored by Nelson Empowers. By attending any of these events, participants acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth in this policy unless they explicitly choose to opt out as described below. Media captured during these events may be used for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to promotional, educational, and marketing efforts across both digital and print platforms. All photographs, videos, and other forms of media taken by event staff or official photographers are the exclusive property of Nelson Empowers, and the organization retains all rights to use and distribute these materials as it deems appropriate.

Attendees of the event implicitly grant their consent to be photographed or recorded by participating in the event. However, if an attendee does not wish to have their image or likeness captured, they have the option to opt out. To exercise this right, individuals must inform event staff at the time of check-in and wear an opt-out badge, signaling their preference. It is important to note that opting out does not apply to general crowd shots, where individuals may be incidentally included but are not the primary focus of the photograph or video.

Nelson Empowers is committed to protecting the privacy of its attendees. Attendee names and personal information will not be shared without explicit consent. In cases where events involve minors, written consent from a parent or guardian must be obtained before any media involving the minor can be used for promotional or marketing purposes. Additionally, Nelson Empowers is dedicated to adhering to relevant privacy and data protection regulations, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable regional laws.

This comprehensive policy ensures that all media captured during events is used ethically, with consideration for privacy and legal requirements, while also offering attendees the opportunity to maintain control over their personal image.
